WhatsApp to make three huge changes

WhatsApp is used by over a billion people every single day to send messages and share media.

The app is regularly updated by the firm, meaning new features are constantly introduced.

And it appears three new additions are on the horizon, according to WABetaInfo.

is a publication renowned for analysing development and beta builds of WhatsApp in order to gain an insight into forthcoming features.

Here is a list of the three new tools that will be introduce in to the features

Blocked screenshots

This is easily the most controversial of the forthcoming trio; early versions of WhatsApp have shown the firm is working on a new "Authentication" feature for Android that will require the user's fingerprint to be scanned for the app to be opened.

However, a new beta for the software on Android, 2.19.106, has shown this tool will block screenshots from being captured if enabled.

An alert informing the user of the prevention within the app.

WhatsApp update

It seems WhatsApp's Authentication feature for Android will prevent users from taking screenshots
WABetaInfo announced the controversial feature on Twitter and many fans expressed their disappointment in response.

One said: “If someone authenticates it with a fingerprint then why the hell can't they take screenshots?"

Another tweeted: WhatsApp please just focus on the New emojis for Doodle UI

WhatsApp's Doodle UI is incredibly popular and very useful; it allows users to edit photos by adding emojis and drawing on them for instance.

While the emojis offered by the mode were usable, they were certainly inconsistent with the rest of the app.

That is because the icons present in Doodle UI were different to the characters within chats themselves.

However, it appears WhatsApp is changing the emojis within Doodle UI to make them more consistent with the rest of the WhatsApp experience.

The new icons were found in WhatsApp beta 2.19.110 for Android.

Unfortunately, it is unknown when this improvement will debut.

MARRYING FAT WOMAN MAKES A MAN 10 TIMES HAPPIER THAN MARRYING SKINNY

New research: Men who marry chubby women are happier and live longer
According to a new study, men who are in relationships with chubby women tend to smile more and be better at dealing with problems than men who are in relationships with thin women.
The study also shows that thin women tend to be more reserved, more unfriendly and less expressive with their emotions.
The Argentinian newspaper Nuevo Diario reports on the findings from the research conducted by Dr Filemón Alvarado and Dr Edgardo Morales at UNAM’s department of psychology.
According to their research, chubby women make their men ten times as happy as thin women. And we all know that happy people live longer.
The study also indicated that chubby women are better at anticipating their partner’s needs.

RELAX! NPOWER 2016 BENEFICIARIES YOU ARE NOT GOING BACK TO THE STREETS!

Daily Post Nigeria Reports that : presidency lists Buhari’s achievements as first tenure ends,

The presidency on Saturday reviewed some achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari.

In an article titled “Looking back, and looking forward” Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, recalled what his principal promised and fulfilled.

He wrote: “When the government took the reins of power in May 2015, the security of the country was in tatters. Insurgents ran riot, and bombs went off like firecrackers in many parts of the country. North-west, North-east, North-central, including the Federal Capital Territory, were beleaguered. The insurgents were on their way to the southern part, and the whole country would have become history.

“But the tested retired Army General took the war to Boko Haram. Stressing that you can’t efficiently manage a country until you have secured it, he relocated the command centre of the war to Maiduguri, which is the epicenter of the insurgency. Steadily and progressively, the insurgents were beaten back, till they got circumscribed in Sambisa Forest.

“Other theatres of insecurity like kidnapping, armed robbery, attacks by violent herdsmen on farmers, and other civil strifes, are also being addressed. Eventually, calm will suffuse the entire country.

“The economy was comatose in 2015, and it was no surprise that it went into recession the following year. Throw up the hands in resignation and bemoan the tough luck that saw oil prices plunging from above 100 dollars per barrel to below 30 dollars? Not the Buhari administration. It rolled its sleeves, and set to work.

“Massive investments were made in agriculture and infrastructure, so as to jumpstart the economy. And truly, it roared to life, and recession lasted for only a year. The Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP) was enunciated, launched and vigorously executed, and by the fourth quarter of 2018, things were looking positive.

“Inflation had dropped for more than eleven consecutive months, and the impact was beginning to be felt in the prices of commodities. Importation of rice and other grains had almost stopped completely, and millions of dollars were being saved daily.

“On corruption, there was a new reality in the country. There was a time we’d been told that stealing was not corruption. But behold a new dawn. Every form of stealing was being punished, and all malefactors, both high and low, were being hurled before the courts, and thrown into jail.

“What shall we say of massive infrastructure works round the country? Roads, bridges, rail, power, and many others. Nigeria had never seen it in that fashion.

“Now, to look forward. What will the Buhari administration do in its second term? Many things, in fact, a basket of goodies. It is a term of consolidation, a term of legacy building, as encapsulated in the Next Level road map. Progress and prosperity for Nigerians at many levels.

“Education will be refocussed, with the curriculum tweaked to place more emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths. These will surely launch Nigeria into a new realm, positioning her with the developed world in the not too distant future.

“Health care will come under focus, with the intention of building a healthy populace, who can hold their own in different areas of endeavour.

“Infrastructure development will continue. Roads, rail, bridges, housing, and many others. The country will become one giant construction site, and this will further unlock economic development, and improve the quality of life.

“Government will be inclusive. The boundless talents of Nigerians will be harnessed for national development. More women and youths would be brought on board.

“Poverty reduction will be a deliberate policy. The Social Investment Program, already described as the largest and most successful in Africa, will be strengthened with the introduction of Monibank for traders and artisans, while an Entrepreneurs Bank would also be established to take care of small and medium scale enterprises.

“Home Grown School Feeding Program, catering for the needs of about ten million pupils now, will be given a fillip, engagement of unemployed graduates, and conditional cash transfer to the poorest of the poor, would also continue. Millions of Nigerians would be taken out of grinding poverty in the next four years, no doubt.

Power. Billions of dollars had been expended on this in the past decades, but where is the power, as the President would ask. Emphasis would be on power generation and distribution as to make a difference in the next four years.

“Agriculture would continue to have pride of place in terms of funding. Lip service had been paid to diversifying the Nigerian economy for decades, but now, it is reality. Food security will be achieved in the second term. About eight million jobs were generated from the sector in the first term, many more millions are sure to come.

“Anti-corruption? No joke. People with itchy fingers, past and present, will continue to fall in trouble, and probity and accountability will remain the order of the day. Honesty remains the best policy.”

Publishers Note: The federal Government has no plan to dissolve or otherwise scrap any of the social Investment programs. Rather , they're trying to reshaping, broadened as well as improve and enhance the program to be more economical and sustainable. It could be Recalled that the office of the vice president issued a press release announcing a plan to engage additional One Million youths under the Npower Program.

Ebony State Names Center after the chief of Army Staff

Ebonyi State University (EBSU).

The Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has named its newly established Institute for Peace and Strategic Studies after the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai, for his selfless service to the nation and humanity.

According to a statement by Col. Sagir Musa, the army spokesman, the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Chigozie Egbu, announced the honour when he led a team from the university on a courtesy visit to Buratai in Abuja.

Egbu commended Buratai for the achievements the army had recorded under his leadership in the promotion and maintenance of peace in the country.

According to Egbu, EBSU is ready to collaborate with the army on the trust that a well-educated army is essential for effective military duties in the 21st century.

“We are also delighted that you are interested in the establishment of an Institute for Peace and Strategic Studies at EBSU to offer members of the Armed Forces, Police and paramilitary agencies the opportunity to get higher and relevant education,” he said.

Egbu, who was a former Deputy Governor in the state, disclosed that Gov. David Umahi and the State Executive Council had approved that the Institute be named “Lt.-Gen. Tukur Yusufu Buratai Institute for Peace and Strategic Studies”.

Responding, Buratai thanked the leadership of the university, government and people of Ebonyi for the honour.

He dedicated the honour to officers and soldiers of the Nigerian army for their commitment, sacrifices and resolve to bring an end to the myriad of security challenges facing Nigeria.

Buratai expressed willingness to support the university to provide quality education and to serve as a centre for academic research on contemporary security challenges.

He said the army would sponsor qualified officers and soldiers interested to enrol in the university’s programmes and solicited for collaboration between the institution and the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, an emerging research centre.

The Igbinedion University, Okada, had also on April 15 honoured the Nigerian Army by naming its Centre for Contemporary Security Affairs after Gen. Buratai
